Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.

Pauline took this picture in rue de Charonne yesterday. We both saw a heart shape in the middle of the bullet impact. I guess it’s a way for our brains to find hope in the middle of fear and death.
